Knox County neighbors… starting tonight at midnight Alcoa Hwy northbound between John Sevier & UT Medical Center will be closed until Tuesday morning, and southbound lanes will close off and on as needed. More importantly at 7am Saturday morning there will be a massive blast 💥 BOOM!!! 💥 as they take down the rock wall on the northbound side just across from Looney Island. If youre anywhere nearby (South Knox, Riverbend, Lakemoore Hills, Bearden, Downtown, etc.) and you hear a sonic boom over your morning coffee - that’s it!
