In the Arctic, dinoflagellates are now driving the spring bloom of sea ice algae, replacing the usual diatoms. High sunlight, nutrients & warmer ice conditions are behind this shift. This could alter Arctic food web, as dinoflagellates are rich in omega-3. frontiersin.org/articles/10.33…
