I’m sure there will be people, whether conservative or liberal, who will watch this video and actually applaud this individual. But as a conservative myself, and more importantly as a Christian, I find it completely unacceptable that this man is using racial slurs. What makes it even worse is that some of these same people claim to represent Christ. They’ll put Jesus in their bio, yet turn around and speak with hatred. That contradiction should not be ignored. Now, I’m not defending the other person in the video, his behavior was clearly wrong and violent. But someone else’s wrongdoing doesn’t justify responding with the same kind of sin. There were other ways to handle the situation. He could have walked away or addressed it without resorting to slurs. At some point, there has to be accountability. You can’t call yourself a Christian, a conservative, or even a decent person while speaking like that and think it’s acceptable. That’s not biblical, and it’s not righteous. It’s a refusal to truly submit to what Scripture teaches.
