I love these $FYBR shareholder letters coming out against the deal

All sorta makes sense w the timeline back to delusional “led in the copper plant” story by WSJ obviously planted, stocks gets crushed, somewhat soon thereafter activist emerges w buyer in tow. Probably “talks” w lowball offers. At $38.50 can argue everybody wins BUT VZ wins most

$FYBR my view is Glendon is right 2 vote against, & $38.50 not enuf. Any merger arbs have a view on how impactful this is? If deal voted against how do things like this typicly trade? Is there a gut reaction lower or does every1 already know $VZ can & will pay more so just runs?

I continue to think Tucows is a very attractive investment opportunity. I think this despite the fact that it’s just beyond tedious owning shares in a company run by the most profoundly arrogant guy of all time. Fiber overcometh all even arrogant people who should not be arrogant

I think at $38.50 the $FYBR deal will work out quite well for $VZ shareholders in due course. Certainly not overpaying and huge strategic value in these assets. Plus they’ll perform totally fine in essentially any economic environment.

I think there is somewhat of a case to be made that $FYBR shareholders should reject $38.50. Not that it will happen. One of those things where it’s fair “today” but I did genuinely have quite a bit more upside in the long run. Qestion of time horizon really. Still great outcome.

$FYBR securitization another fiber bear case carted out. Evry single 1 will be in time. I get it, stock still in gutter but hell if Ive learned 1 thing in life u celebrate ur wins. Cable bulls are fucked & fiber entrepreneurs who survive the journey will be sittin on gold. BUILD.

There will be a gigantic amount of further consolidation in the fiber world obviously but Frontier was the big boy

Continue to very much like $fybr has gone against me but grt assets & solid returns. Will access securitization mkt going fwd & ultimately expect them to be taken out although cud be some time. Economic value per share is growing. Not sure when reflected but i am a patient man
