@MintyAbbeeey Hot take, Del Rio was in the right to make the decision that he did with respect to removing the Infinity from Requiem, he was just very emotionally unfit to be captain and had no business being in a leadership position in the first place.
English

@Daamianski No really how the hell do you do this? Because I open up SFM, the bespoke program made to do things like this, and it's nonstop nutwrenching agony for 5 hours to try and made the first blocks of a single building with 600 props at 3fps. Tell me your secrets, pls I beg
English

@ExoticValkyrie How to light scenes pls, I still don't know

Thanks to the Covenant's superior technology, many UNSC victories were won off the backs of chance encounters, and opportunistic ambushes. Experienced Commanders knew stopping in Human-held regions often meant death.

"They'll have something the IIs never did, not really."
"What's that?"
"Rage. A fire that can split mountains and boil oceans. All we need to do is point them at the bastards who lit it."

@Hartwell_Design @J0J0Reference Well, I mean, they did.

It's just a shame it came from Battle Born.
English

@J0J0Reference Thanks bro, it was a custom energy based weapon I was prototyping with, like what if the unsc had an alternative to the covenant’s plasma kind of weapon

@AnchorMcDaddy Well yeah but BEHIND the mandibles and the hole there is like a lip flap back there behind them, so their throat isn't just open 24/7
English

@LastnameSilver Yeah but that doesn't make sense, they're physically incapable of whistling because of that big ass hole
English

@AnchorMcDaddy I mean, as cursed as it is, it says they put their fingers in their mouths, not their mandibles. So they have to really work them back in there to get to the 'mouth' part, I guess?
English

@LastnameSilver They have a big ass hole under their mandibles though

@TechnicalNewsHQ @verge That implies AI deserves to exist.
It does not.
If your industry exists off the back of skirting around artistic and copyright protection laws, your industry does not deserve to exist.
I pray every day for your bubble to collapse.
English

Nick Clegg’s argument highlights the practical challenges for AI development, but shouldn’t innovation and artists’ rights be mutually reinforcing?
If the AI industry truly can’t move forward without bypassing consent, perhaps it’s time to rethink our approach-seeking new models of collaboration that respect creators while still enabling progress, rather than relying on unchecked data scraping.
English

Nick Clegg says asking artists for use permission would ‘kill’ the AI industry theverge.com/news/674366/ni…

@Silent_SFM No, The Librarian implanted Forerunner Bits:tm: into Human DNA, that's (probably) why Humans can become Spartans and, like, Sangheili can't. Also of note, the only other species this was done to (I think) were the Prophets; who ALSO have Spartan-like supersoldiers of their own.
English

@LastnameSilver You're not gonna tell me humans are forerunner, are you? 🧐
English

Okay Spartan Flash-Clones, who's the template?
SilentSFM (Commissions Open!)@Silent_SFM
One more before bed I could see guys like this fighting Prometheans.
English

@Silent_SFM No, Ancient Humans didn't have an implanted Forerunner Genesong inside them, which modern Humans do. They only got that once they lost the war with the Forerunners and became modern-Human ancestors that had to re-evolve. Modern Humans would have Ancient Human AND Forerunner DNA.
English

@LastnameSilver Would an Ancient Human not be the most robust genetic profile?
English

@Silent_SFM Ah, well, same idea, different purpose. Combining genetic profiles would get you more robust clone templates; pick the most successful ones out of the 'class' and refine them. Accelerate their growth with the same growth hormones they used on the IIs.
English

@LastnameSilver Flash Clones without the sudden death, same deal as Kaminoans creating clones, but Engineers and ONI
