I wish good things for everyone all the time. Even mean people - maybe if good things happened for them they'd be nicer.

I've been doing Spanish lessons for 60 days and I'm mad that I don't understand the Spanish commercials on TV.

Simply having a meal schedule keeps my kids in line. Breakfast 9-10 Lunch 12 Dinner 5-6 The times are non negotiable. Sean and I both uphold them. It makes things easier.

You know, parenting is live and learn. Nothing is certain from generation to generation or even decade to decade What worked before may be a total flop now no matter how perfect it's executed. Consistency is the key. Pick one thing to be consistent on and stick to it.

My neighbor that I love is a manager at a fast food place. I love him and his wife just to be clear. Anyway tonight he called and asked us to bring him the store keys to close the store and my demand was an iced Pepsi. I'm easy to please lol

@jayhood73 Ghetto adjacent 😂 I've been to places in Atlanta where if you turn the wrong way out of the drive-thru you're in the ghetto. I've even had people jump in my truck at that Taco Bell drive-thru that is ghetto adjacent. Definitely a strange place to be lol

We actually live in a nice neighborhood, it’s not ghetto. It’s ghetto adjacent. A couple wrong turns and you’re smack in the middle of the projects. lol 😂

No one’s perfect in any thing they do We can strive to do better but perfection in my eyes can’t be accomplished Some people on here act better than others Perfect parent , Perfect money maker etc None of that will matter in the end

I want to buy a town one day. A ghost town, a mountain town, a tumbleweed town I'm not sure but something cheap. Start with a hardware store, a library, a diner and a post office.... All on my dime.

Nobody's eating perfectly and that's actually the point. I spent years thinking I needed to meal prep like those Instagram moms with their rainbow Buddha bowls and homemade everything. Then I realized nobody actually lives like that. Last week my family ate: - Eggs and toast for breakfast - Quesadillas with leftover chicken for lunch - Pork roast with different sides Was it Pinterest worthy? Absolutely not. Did everyone clean their plates? Yes. Did I have energy left instead of collapsing from kitchen exhaustion? Also yes. The whole "perfectly balanced artisanal meal" thing is a trap. Your kids don't need microgreens. They need fed parents who aren't burned out from trying to perform parenthood for an audience that doesn't exist. Some days dinner is leftover chicken and bagged salad. Some days it's cereal. Some days you actually cook and feel like a functional adult. All of those days count as success. What's the most unglamorous meal you've served lately that actually worked?
