Just wanted to confirm something cuz Ive been thinking about it.
Aegis of valor also takes into account your MMR right? And you guys didnt ship this feature without making sure it also boosts/doesnt change your mmr. Because that would be a pretty clear indicator as to why LP gains change very fast.
Sidenote: Great work with Matchmaking, games feel fun again. TY

@wickedcheeser issue is that people above me are getting higher lp gains, cause they aint as affected by aegis of valor

@LathyrusTv since you are challenger aren’t your gains supposed to deteriorate as it increases?

@drewlevin is this rly how aegis was designed? Aegis is never a feel good thing, its something incredible bad that can happen to ur acc, and if u happen to play a priority role there is nothing u can do?

@Agurinlol wouldnt be a bad fix if they had also reset every1 m+ down to 0 lp Master

The fix in question is everyone just gets flat +/- 20 LP no matter their MMR LOL

Pushed another fix to all regions for LP gains in Apex an hour ago (please don't link screenshots from several hours ago) . This should hopefully be the last fix. Thanks to everyone for your patience and helping us troubleshoot the issue. Please respond to this thread if you're seeing anomalous gains and losses. Some very small number of players at the top of the ladder might still have bad gains but it should be slight. Patch preview later

We are all fine with making everyone above Master get a hard reset to 0 LP and normal gains. Competition will do the rest long term. Nobody wants to play with these gains + Rank 1 being 2800 LP

I dont know what you guys done for this season. But you need to fix it. League is genuinely unplayable. This is by far the worst state Ive ever seen league of legends soloq be in. Matchmaking is unfair. The LP gains are not climbable. I don't mind matchmaking being bad if LP gains are good and vice versa but they cant both be terrible at the same time. What is the point to play right now? I genuinely want to know, everyone I know in high elo have dropped the game currently in hope u can fix it asap so we can start playing the game we love. But this, this just isnt what we fell in love with. Please. Please, help us. @RiotPhroxzon @drewlevin

Just pushed a change to fix the LP gains in Masters+ for all regions. 95% of people should be fixed at this point. We've fixed the last 5% as best as possible, but they won't be able to be fully fixed. Sorry for the delay, please let us know if there are any further issues.
