Story time. Don’t be like me. I had amassed a massive short position on $XIV in 2017 towards late 2017. Shoutout to those who remember that inverse VIX vehicle. Not sure why they retired it lol. SVIX is not the same at only half the move. Anyways back to the story. My short was becoming underwater more and more each passing day. I couldn’t take it anymore so I covered for a loss. Then literally a month ish later Volmeggedon happened. The thing dropped like 80-90% if I recall in a few days? I was sick to my stomach. I couldn’t sleep for days. I felt dumber than the Houston rockets yesterday giving up 6 points in 30 seconds at the end of the game. Stick with your conviction. Trust your gut. Don’t be like me. /endstory
