Well, it’s official! I’m officially a Graduate in Zoology with Animal Behaviour. A photo of my first and last Undergrad days🙈 The past 3 years have been invaluable, wonderful and joyful all in one. I’m going to miss Bangor incredibly, but I’m excited for my next steps🎓🥰

My autism disables me when my needs aren't met. I require accommodations and support to get my needs met. This is why it's a disability for me even though I am not always actively disabled by it. Autism can not actively disable a person and still be a disability. The end. 🙂

In a way, autistic infodumping can kinda be a compliment. If I infodump about a special interest to someone, it means "I feel safe and comfortable enough around you to be myself"

Why do autistic people get overwhelmed in crowded spaces? Often it's not just the lack of space or the noise, but because there's so much visually going on that we cannot filter out, so it sends our minds into overdrive

As an autistic person, an important part of my self-confidence journey has been recognising that my perspective is just as important as other people’s and other people seeing something one way doesn’t mean I have to or that my perspective is incorrect or not valid if it differs.
