@princepolity @Disability_WP While I am disappointed if not dismayed by the $200, DTC does NOT require income to qualify. It’s a a severe disability qualification. It was created for the parents of disabled dependents to get a tax break and later used for RDSP qualification.

Inherent limitations of relying solely on the DTC to deliver the Canada Disability Benefit

We participated in several focus groups, 3 technical roundtables & watched every committee hearing thru HUMA & SOCI. We heard NOT ONE person recommend using the DTC as a gateway to the underfunded #CanadaDisabilityBenefit. We heard lots of folks recommend against it. #Cdnpoli
