Last year I did a newcomer PD and shared these affirmations. A teacher asked me to make them into a poster for her classroom space! While they were designed for newcomer/SIFE/SLIFE Ss they really apply to all Ss. If you tell them daily that you believe in them! They’ll rise!

This is important! 🙌

When officials demonstrably favor some faiths over others, it sends a message of exclusion to the students who don’t follow the preferred faith. Public schools must welcome and serve students of all faiths — and those of none.
