@KirkMMaxey @JMoncktonSmith @datepsych Because it's more about the person behind the crime than the crime being a "response". That's the reason to distinguish between them. The perp had the potential for the crime long before they were "jilted".

@JMoncktonSmith @datepsych That makes sense - in the moment, the necessary tools or weapons may be unavailable, and attribution will be obvious. But why make distinctions? Romantic betrayal leading to homicide is one single motivation. Lump them all together for a total, and then categorize after that.

@KateBurkeNHS I recently had a gastro & colonoscopy. I struggle with the gastro & said I had 3 kids without so much as gas & air but find the gastro painful. It was the colonoscopy that was painful this time & when I said I wasn’t coping with the pain,the Doctor said but you’ve had 3 kids!

Had an incredible in flight emergency experience on @AmericanAir Yesterday. Patient w LOC & about 30-40 min until landing. Team rapidly assembled (Akeila - an ER Nurse from @BayhealthDE, Eddie a cardiologist from @MaineMed, and Anna the flight attendant) to care for the pt 1/7

@EmergMedDr This government do not prioritise children within policy. They have had the evidence regarding the impact that early years investment and early interventions can have on individual lives all the way up to national economic return. They have chosen to ignore it.
