@dralhubb Some couples have had to spend hours on the phone to vendors, have had relatives die etc. focusing on their big day as some sort of speck of hope in the distance just for that to be changed again. You can't assume you know everyone's situation & belittle their reasons 2/2

@dralhubb I do get your points but you're forgetting about mental health. I had a lockdown wedding with only 5 guests to ensure my dad's safety (very at-risk) and I was fine with that and I wouldn't have changed a thing 1/2

People are losing there friends and family, spending weeks on ventilation and/or suffering from terrible side effects of this disease, but yeah only having 15 people at your wedding is a nightmare.... bbc.co.uk/news/uk-542543…

@dralhubb To be fair Alasdair I assume the majority of couples are upset because they've got the difficult decision yet again to postpone or cancel their weddings which might cause them to lose more money or time rearranging everything 1/2
