A year ago today, peaceful humans were mutilated, raped, tortured and kidnapped….I don’t come on X very often these days….but I want to be here, in this moment to say it was wrong…no if’s, no buts….just utterly immoral and wrong!

One of the most gut-wrenching things I’ve faced here is wading through comments, hiding and blocking those who shamelessly celebrate the horrific killing or kidnapping of both Palestinian and Israeli children. When I posted about baby Kfir Bibas, urging Hamas to release him and his family, I was met with an onslaught of vicious responses. The same cruelty I faced when I spoke out about Palestinian children killed by the Israeli army—the hostility only grew, as if these children’s lives meant nothing, with others rushing to justify and normalize their deaths. May Sham and Karam’s memory be a blessing, and I desperately hope that Kfir and his family are alive and will soon be free, returning safely to their loved ones.

Hanna and Kurt- (work in progress) Kurt Meier ( Meyer) was Hanna's best friend from Gemund, Germany. In 1939 Hanna came to England as a refugee through the kindertransport. Conversely, Kurt was transported to Theresiedstadt concentration camp where he perished. @HannaZackMiley

Aw my darling mum passed a year ago today. The year has been painfully slow then sped by. She loved me and my sis so hard until the end. I miss her beyond words or feeling. We danced to we will be heroes and put sunflowers and Rioja by her grave. Here is to love xx 😘
