We have piglets! Olwen our Welsh sow farrowed 10 gorgeous bundles of squish this morning. We AI'd her using the JSR 400 Hampshire based boar, can't wait to see how they develop! Can't see today being particularly productive, I have piglets to cuddle! 😍

As a UK lamb producer, currently facing huge input prices and lamb price slashing, this makes me sick. The reason can only be down to finances. This was Sainsbury’s in Penrith today. In the heart of the livestock producing lands in the North west. Totally mad and totally sucks.

@Wyefarm I think as a parent you have 100% responsibility for ensuring your children grow up to be decent humans, you're working hard, trying to earn money, pay a mortgage etc. But with grandkids, usually, the mortgage is paid off, you're working less, you have chance to enjoy it more.

Your parents as Grandparents are totally different animals to your parents as parents!

@PintSizedFarmer Years ago a bale crushed my husband, broke several ribs, he took paracetamol and went back to work! 🙈 so when last week he's in that much pain with his kidneys he's wants to go to a&e then we go, quickly.. 15 hr wait to see a doctor at Shrewsbury. 😫 a&e closed that night too.

88 year old relative advised to go to Cramlington hospital at 10 pm last night and they weren't seen until 6 am this morning. I feel so sorry for the #nhs staff, they're on their knees. The waiting room was rammed. Nowhere to sit. I think #newcastlenhs has declared an emergency.
