Today in D&D I rolled insight on a Sandstorm. I rolled an 18 for a total of 30 Insight. I was able to determine that it was, in fact, a Sandstorm. But because I rolled so high, I also was able to determine it was moving very fast.

@RichVO11 See, maybe if I rolled a 30 on Nature I'd get that information, but this was insight. So I got that it was, in fact, a Sandstorm. (Spoiler: It was the NPC Ally coming to meet with us. My character just went with her intuition.)

Moving very fast and it was grainy. Not just any kind of sand, but multiple varieties of sand. Silica, stone and minute metals which, like snow, no shape or size was the same as another. Each type carrying it's own level of damage and weight. It also carried it's own variety of scents and tastes which constantly changed with the push and pull of the wind.
