The 2023-2024 Laura Bush Foundation for America’s Libraries grant application is now open through November 27. This #WomensDay, we celebrate the hope and opportunity PEPFAR has given to strong women and girls, like Faith and Tatu, around the world. We must all continue to support PEPFAR as we fight to end AIDS as a public health threat.

We were happy to see Faith and Tatu recently when the @TheBushCenter marked the 20th anniversary of PEPFAR. Thanks to PEPFAR, 25 million lives have been saved, and 5.5 million babies like Faith have been born HIV-free in the last two decades.

On this #InternationalWomensDay, I’m grateful for courageous women leaders like my friend Tatu Msangi, a single mother who learned she was HIV-positive during pregnancy and enrolled in a program to prevent mother-to-child transmission. bushcenter.org/publications/b…
