It is incredibly heartening to see so many #familylaw professionals working together to address issues and assist worried and confused families. Disputes may still happen during this difficult time, but at least families are now aware of possible issues and consequences. #COVID19

As a last resort, you can make an application to the court and both be judged on your decisions. If you did not act in your child’s best interests during the #pandemic then your parenting capability could be questioned, with arrangements potentially changed against your wishes.

#MichaelGove clarified this morning that children under 18 will be able to move between separated parents during #CoronavirusLockdown. Any movement should be child focused: no two families are the same, and this guidance will be dependent on what is in a child’s best interests.
