@Airbnb's insurer said it was "personal negligence" that I had my laptop charging on the floor. As if I'm supposed to anticipate flooding at all times. There was no outlet near the only table in the apartment. I used the outlet by my bed to charge my laptop overnight. @AirbnbHelp

In Feb I woke up to an inch of water covering most of the floor of my @Airbnb apartment in CDMX. My laptop was charging on the floor and was unfortunately destroyed. I had nothing to do with the flood. Now @airbnb_mx's insurers are denying my claim. Any suggestions?
