Don’t blindly trust Airbnb that it meets fire safety standards. I’m staying at a property in Okanagan and found smoke detectors labelled “REPLACE IN 2017.” (expired 9 years ago)- in an area with forest fire risk. @AirbnbHelp @Airbnb

@AirbnbHelp Update: After threatening me with police, filing a false safety complaint, and trying to evict a handicapped US citizen — my host just left a defamatory review falsely claiming I have bipolar disorder and threatened to damage her property. I paid $2,820 in full. I have never missed a payment. This is textbook retaliation and defamation. @Airbnb your platform is being used to defame guests. This review must be removed immediately. @AirbnbHelp We have an issue that seems so clear to us, but support has been unhelpful. "Purusharth" and "Rasika" seem limited in their ability to help. If someone simply took the time to actually review the reservation and use common sense, it would be an open and shut case IMO.
