Niaz and I have started to be more conscious about what we throw away that we could recycle. This small change can reduce landfills! #apeswaste @franklinlorax

Being in the mountains of Queensland, I realized that the topsoil we were on, takes nearly 500 years to produce. This is wild 🤪 #apesland @franklinlorax

In America we are the worlds biggest wasters by far if everyone took steps to throw away less food and other materials that would lower the average ecological footprint by a great amount. @franklinlorax #apespop

By setting up a trail cam to take pictures of wildlife, we can monitor the distributions of Wisconsin animals, such as deer, throughout the state. This helps us to understand characteristics such as the populations of certain species and where they live. #apeseco @franklinlorax

#apeswater @franklinlorax We went on a field trip to the Jones Island water treatment plant to learn how sewage is treated and put back into Lake Michigan. It was interesting to learn how much goes into something we take for granted.

Setting a timer for 10 minutes in the shower helps me to remember that I should conserve my water. Taking a long shower uses water that I don’t need to be using! @franklinlorax #apesintro
