@klmr I guess more context would be helpful: this isn't for me, it's for my students. This is part of week 8 of a 10-week course on intro R programming for speech science. I've only taught them base R (because that's what I know and use), but I thought it would be wise to teach them 1/

Question for #RStats users who regularly use #dplyr (which is definitely not me): given a logical vector that has a name for each element in the vector, how can you get the names for all TRUE elements? In base R this is as simple as names(which(X)), where X is the logical vector.

Very interesting presentation by Dana Ober about Saibai Island, its language (Kalaw Kawaw Ya), and its culture. In the spirit of @CoEDLang, it was delivered entirely in Language, with English translations on the slides.

Years later, and on a different continent, it was great to see a familiar face from my time at the @MPI_NL for Psycholinguistics!

On now: the CoEDL End of Centre Event. Three days of celebrating the many achievements of @CoEDLang at the beautiful Shine Dome in Canberra. Very grateful to have been part of this community of brilliant scientists, and looking forward to many continuing collaborations.
