Q6: Some important trends in educational technology are the use of Twitter in the classroom, student blogs, Bitmoji online classrooms, Nearpod and FlipGrid. #brandyourclass

Q5: I encourage the use of technology by displaying my students’ projects outside the classroom for other teachers to see. For example, I displayed Black History Month PowerPoints on the bulletin board. We also discuss various resources at lunch. #brandyourclass

Q4: If my grade level creates and projects using technology, we share them across the grade level through email. #brandyourclass

Q3: We have a cart of 30 laptops that we share with 2 grades. We have a signup sheet on the cart, so we can use them for 2 periods a week. Students go on the i-Ready program. We also use PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Nearpod. #brandyourclass

My classroom doesn’t have a large digital “tattoo” because all students don’t have the same access to technology. This year I'm using Microsoft Teams as our online classroom. We use Class Dojo to share pictures with families and use FlipGrid to share videos. #brandyourclass

Q5: I hope to learn how to make my classroom more technology oriented. Now that Covid has caused my district to put more emphasis on technology and getting devices in the hands of every student, I feel that I can use the programs that this course will teach. #MCtechsavvy2

Q4: Technology enhances project-based learning because students can work together to collaborate on one document or PowerPoint. Students can learn how to find reliable sources and get creative with how they choose to present their research to others. #MCtechsavvy2

Q3: Every student would have a laptop and I would have a SMART Board and document camera. Technology is a huge motivator for students and I would love to incorporate Prezi video, Nearpod, Flipgrid, PowerPoint and others during the day. #MCtechsavvy2
