@Nigel_Farage This is very inaccurate. First an extension is a decision of the member states and second the Benn Act just says that we must ask for an extension if Parliament rejects the deal and a no deal Brexit. The EU are well within their rights to reject an extension if we ask for one.

So an unelected, retiring bureaucrat says: No extension, take this new treaty or just leave. He is overriding the Benn Act. The EU shows itself to be a thuggocracy - power without accountability. Appalling people.
