@ascendingstarJ @Sugo_rr Yeah, I do actually enjoy PxG a lot because if we consider the entire NEL it fit really well. But it's because Isagi struggled a lot and didn't even score in the first 2 games. Now at the world cup I feel like Kaneshiro is scared of Isagi's fans getting mad at him being a bum

In conclusion, the match isn’t ending in a draw whatsoever and it is still likely Japan will lose the match. However, that doesn’t denounce any criticisms that people wish to make regarding this specific game or the series in of itself.

@Sugo_rr @ascendingstarJ Yes! People don't realize that the reason that goal is SO good is because we saw Isagi lose before. If Isagi never loses then his goals become boring, there is no pressure. Same with Kaiser's big goal coming after him falling apart

@ascendingstarJ @Sugo_rr Isagi's goal in U20 is SO good and so rewarding because he had lost to Rin because of bad luck in 2nd selection. It felt earned. Now I want to see the same with Hugo, Isagi losing here and coming back stronger later. If he still pulls through there is no point

@ascendingstarJ @Sugo_rr Kaneshiro comes up with amazing ways to challenge Isagi, the problem is that often things get solved too quickly so it feels like he didn't struggle at all. It would be much more rewarding to see him triumph after a much longer struggle

@ascendingstarJ @Sugo_rr Yeah but knowing Ego and the fandom I just know Rin will take most of the blame. Also to me it seems like Kaneshiro is afraid of having Isagi struggle too much, which is probably the biggest problem of the manga because Isagi's struggles are actually really interesting

@Lavi_Mais @Sugo_rr It definitely shouldn’t be the blame game, it isn’t on Blue Lock for an unlucky draw in the group stage and they did everything they could for a win. Knowing Isagi as well, he’ll take responsibility alongside Rin if his plan fails

@getsugafact @zekkenfan1 Yes irl it happens that team beat the favorite and then struggle against weaker teams, but that doesn't work well in a manga. If they can hold back Loki and Hugo there is no way they're gonna struggle against teams with only one NG 11 or no NG 11 at all

@getsugafact @zekkenfan1 France is the best team and they have 2 NG 11. We could argue Kaiser got way better after the NEL and Germany is gonna be tough, but what about Spain, the match Kaneshiro has been hyping up since forever? Blue Lock is gonna have Nagi and Sae too but Spain only has Bunny

@getsugafact This is not the match where this "we'll meet again" thing can work. Isagi's play succeeding even just once would already prove Hugo wrong and would destroy the whole theme of destiny way too early. Kaneshiro needs to stop being scared of letting Isagi properly lose

@ascendingstarJ @Sugo_rr I like that, but I don't like how suddenly the blame will mostly fall on Rin and not Isagi. I will take anything if it means Japan loses, but I don't like the idea of Rin getting the blame when Isagi was warned his risky plays could make his teammates unstable

@Sugo_rr The panel of the shadow behind the ball makes me feel as if there’s going to be someone to interfere with this play. Whether it’s Loki or Rin is 50/50 tbh. I don’t know if Loki will stop destroyer Rin but I could see Rin missing 🤷🏽‍♂️

@getsugafact Blue Lock not being destroyed makes perfect sense (especially considering to even score these 2 goals one of them had to abandon Ego's ideology, a big sacrifice), but France didn't feel as much of a threat as it should have, especially Loki and Charles (Hugo was perfect)

@getsugafact Isagi realizing he's a rebel is perfect but came too early. He should have struggled for longer with his identity. If they draw thanks to Isagi's play then there is not even a point for a rematch because thematically Isagi would have already beaten Hugo's ideology

@getsugafact @ascendingstarJ Yeah but the problem is that if they draw (big if because it's not over yet) then the stakes for the whole arc are gone. France is supposed to be the best ever, so all the rest should be too easy for Blue Lock, especially with Sae and Nagi coming
