@LawReading

I write about political lawfare—the strategic use of law to achieve political goals. My focus is practical: helping people understand legal tactics.

Big news — my book is finally out! Practical Guides — Lawfare is now available via Imperium Press. This has been a long journey, and I’m proud to finally share the result. 👉 imperiumpress.org/shop/practical… Your support genuinely means a great deal.

@LawReading It’s a good question but I think the answer wanted is “so just don’t try at all, and give up on Restore.” It’s like saying to the Bolsheviks, what’s the point in organising in the Russian Empire when the Okhrana will just fuck you over.

@LawReading Very well written article. Re the cult like point - have you noticed how many followers imitate the same writing style Lowe uses? Or the person presented to us as Lowe uses? I have a rule in life which has served well: stay well away from politicians in waxed jackets.

There are a lot of reasons Restore should stay well away from Elon Musk not least because he’s an ardent backer of immigrants coming in to take high paying jobs away from natives and tells anyone who questions that to “fuck yourself in the face”. I’m not saying Restore should oppose Musk or call him out or anything like that. But Restore should absolutely not be taking donations or publicly bigging up their relationship with him. Not to mention when AI starts taking a lot of jobs in the lead up to the 2029 GE being seen as a pro-tech bro party is going to be political suicide. And don’t even get me started on his surveillance tech, deep states ties, CCP ties, and his links to genuine maniacs like Peter Thiel.

Ah yes, no democratic alternative. That isn't an alternative under the paradigm we're discussing, it also is once again the easiest position to argue from. Delusions of grandeur
Legally Evelyn@dg115511

@MrHreviews Any genuine alternative WOULD NOT be discussed on here, screw your head on. And when I’m wrong you can come along and prove it, till then all you have is vibes and calling me a doomer or whatever.

This is very important for people to understand. When I attack the @RupertLowe10 account I am not attacking Rupert. Rupert doesn’t run his account. A man called Alastair Harrison does and I think he’s reduced the account to a tedious echo chamber designed solely to get likes.

@WorldByWolf I think the only person who has criticised Rupert Lowe or Restore Britain on the Lotus Eaters was me.

I like Carl but I’m afraid anyone who is chasing a Restore seat at the next election is not going to be critical of the leadership. I’ve not heard a single criticism whatsoever of Rupert or Restore from Carl which indicates to me he’s not an unbiased analyst of Restore.

@WorldByWolf No, building an ideological counter-consensus is important and a key part of the reason the left became hegemonic. Constant repetition of our key message is important.

At my Restore Britain branch meeting, I am liking what I am hearing. But they keep saying that they have ground-breaking policies that they can’t talk about. 😔 As well as saying they have wealthy funders and a large war chest. Yet again something they will not discuss with members. The stated reason for this is spies. Hopefully, this is true, not bluster.

This is something I find quite interesting because it’s common for people to be scammed in this way by DM through dating apps, etc. I find it interesting how normal people can build such strong bonds remotely, often without seeing or hearing a person’s voice or face. This type of bonding is something I’m almost completely unable to do, and sometimes I think I’m lucky other times I feel like I’m cursed.

@MomsPostingLs At least she is using Condoms I know to many people who have casual sex without using one. This makes me worried for all the people walking around with STIs.
