I have a lot of people unfollow me because I am a staunch supporter of international law and human rights. Read that again. The difference is that I believe we should use military force in order to defend international law, defend human rights and be ready to strike when a tyrant, a terrorist or some authoritarian decides he wants to act in a manner that the world does not accept. Without enforcement appeasement reigns and International Law & Human Rights become theories not reality.

Donald Trump‘s rhetoric and childlike approach to foreign policy and NATO is what is giving people pause. What’s worse is NATO was built to counter Russian aggression and you have the Trump administration doing everything they can to strengthen Vladimir Putin they’ve sent people to Georgia to meet with the Putin puppet there as well as hungry as well as Serbia they reduced or eliminated sanctions I mean he is helping Russia not Ukraine that is not the spine behind NATO. Trump threatens & tariffs Canada, Greenland and calls Nato a paper tiger. I agree Nato needs to be more proactive but let’s not pretend who Trump is either. He’s literally helping the Axis of Russia, China, N.K and the IRGC.

I have to wonder whether one aim of the US-Israel ceasefire was to pull NATO into securing the Strait of Hormuz. NATO, especially Europe, seems to have forgotten its old strength and the importance of preserving it. The alliance is weak on its own. Its real leverage has always rested on American military and industrial might. European members lack the defense-production capacity of the United States or China, and they do not possess the vast natural resources of Africa. So America remains the indispensable power behind NATO. In a world with clear enemies of Western democracies, it’s insane that they haven’t more firmly backed the United States in confronting one of those adversaries, especially one this significant.

I know a lot of people think that some of it is appeasing the Muslim communities in some of these countries. I’m not sure that is a predominant factor sure it plays a role but in most of these countries the Muslim communities are just percentage points of the overall electorate. I believe it’s more about not wanting to get into a military conflict with Russia or their proxies cause they’re legitimately afraid of a nuclear confrontation. In essence, the threat always used to be. “Oh just wait until they have a nuclear weapon and then they’ll blackmail you”. Well that’s exactly how we’re behaving. We cannot live in a world where everybody’s afraid. Putin is going to fire off a nuke.

Davis? International Law needs to be applied and enforced equally. We have no enforcement of International Law and haven’t since 800K Tutsi’s slaughtered in 100 days. Failure to resolve the terrorism issue in the ME and letting Putin take Crimea. Assad using chemical weapons on their own people. China reeducation camps for Muslims? Modern day slave trade in Africa across the ME. Sudan? How many have died there since 2023? Do you have to look it up? Bet you know all the details against Israel though. Hypocritical, is an understatement. We have BB, Trump, Putin, due to weak feckless leadership focused on identity politics and diplomacy with no militarism as an instrument of enforcement.
