When they do finally mention the Kurds in the 9th paragraph, they say “integrating the Kurds into a democratic republic”—horrible and delusional take. Why are you trying to integrate the Kurds into Turkey? Just like how you all pushed to “integrate” Kurds into Rojava with Syria? This is an attempt to erase Kurdish existence and identity in the name of a fake “democratic republic” that doesn’t and will never exist. Turks are jailing Turks as we speak, what makes you think Turks will give Kurds rights? Why don’t you integrate Turks into Kurdistan instead? Why don’t you integrate Turks into Kurdishness instead? Just weak and embarrassing. The rest of the statement talks about “societies filled with anger” blah blah blah. What? Why do you care about “societies”?
