While demands for special religious accommodations such as halal options and prayer facilities grow stronger, there is growing anxiety that Japan’s traditional emphasis on social harmony and conformity is being threatened. • Observing real examples in Europe and America—such as the formation of parallel societies, deterioration of public safety, and dilution of culture due to immigration—many Japanese feel a strong sense of crisis that Japan may follow the same path. To protect the future of the Japanese people, we will not hesitate even if multiculturalist advocates denounce us as inhumane. We cannot tolerate Japanese people becoming a minority in their own country!
