We spent a day at CEiiA and left with proof that you don't need to be a developer to ship production tools. Just the right problem and the will to solve it.
Not prototypes, but things people are already using.
Thanks to Leandro Leite and the whole CEiiA team for making it happen. Looking forward to see what's next! 🙌

It's structural. Teams ask "where can we use AI?" instead of "what's broken?". Data work gets skipped because it's slow and invisible. Launch gets treated as the finish line, when the real work actually starts there.
The 20% that make it do the opposite: a measurable problem first, data as infrastructure, built for production from day one, budgeted for the system's whole life.
Rita Simões breaks down why this keeps happening, and what we do differently at LayerX. ⬇️

A good model is only useful if people can actually reach it.
That gap is what pushed us to build a public interface for AMÁLIA in under a day. No sign up needed to start, running on our own infrastructure, free to use.
Fátima Caçador from @TeKNoticias_ spoke with @hypermarioal about why we did it and what it took to keep it running under real demand, from managing concurrency to queuing thousands of requests without the system falling over.

We’re hosting AI Hacker House: Solstice Edition, a one day hacking sprint at @dhworkspaces Península, Porto. 🌞
Whatever your background, there's a seat for you. Developers, designers, marketers, sales, founders will all be in the same room, building ideas from scratch over the course of the day.
Attendance is free and spots are limited. Don’t miss out!

Ten frontier AI models walk into a hackathon. Sounds like the start of a joke, but it's actually what we ran.
They built, deployed, and judged each other's work. No human touched the keyboard.
@henriq__e explains how the system behind it works. The orchestrator that runs the whole thing has no LLM in it. It's a deterministic control plane that spawns sandboxes, tracks budgets, and logs every event. All the thinking happens one layer down, inside each agent.
That split is why ten different models could compete in the same run without a month of integration work. The model is just a config row.
The agents didn't get a shortcut either. They entered TAIKAI through the same interface a human builder would use, via MCP.

AI benchmarks are getting more sophisticated. But most still test models in isolation: one task, one model, no consequences.
We wanted to know what happens when you raise the stakes.
So we ran TAIKAI AI Arena. 10 frontier AI models competed. They built, shipped, and judged each other's work. No human intervention.
The results tell you something benchmarks can't.

The real question with AI isn't whether the technology works, but whether it reaches the people who need it.
@hypermarioal puts it simply: distribution is what most companies get wrong.
