The woman I know who are 50+ are not even dating. At all. They have zero interest. They are in community with their family and friends. Completely opted out of dating. Some say they miss romantic companionship but its not worth their peace. Others claim to not miss it at all.

I'm alone, but not lonely. I've enjoyed learning about myself, even self reflection and growth in fixing my own toxic traits & finding peace within myself, and by myself. I've been single for a long while... By choice, to become healthy, grow emotionally, know my worth, and know what's important to me. So that my next relationship I can be healthy with a healthy mature man; a real man, a gentleman. I do pray God has someone for me, but I trust Him either way. I still wholeheartedly believe in love. Solid, equally yoked, passionate, loyal and a little fairytale in there too kinda love. I'm not against dating at all. I just won't do unhealthy, toxic, emotionally immature men. The red flags show up rather quickly.

@LayneeRN17 I just returned to my peaceful place on the back porch amidst gardens with nary a sound beyond a perfect breeze and singing birds… closed my eyes, then rudely startled to reality when my neighbor fired up his ridiculously huge zero turn mower that sounds like a jet engine!

@LayneeRN17 So much hate in this world! And hate is such a wasted emotion, like anger, jealousy, etc. , although we all experience them one can not hold on too tightly or you become bitter! I choose happy and forgiving to cleanse my soul! Although, it can be hard sometimes to forgive 🙏

Some of the posts I see on here are disgraceful, but especially today. Shame on anyone who makes today about anything other than remembrance for our fallen🇺🇸🕊It doesn't have to do with politics, Isreal, Iran, Ukraine, President Trump, or your rants of hate while saying "Happy Memorial Day" What is wrong with people? But I hope you know that it is our fallen & those who have fought and spilled blood for our country, are the only reasons why you are able to speak hate & spew inflammatory rhetoric. #disheartening
