This spring, students read with purpose during our #StarDonationChallenge. Every book read and activity completed earned stars… and students chose to give them away.💛 Through our partnership with @RoomtoRead, those stars helped support literacy, libraries, and educators around the world. Students who donated stars completed 6 times as many literacy activities as those who didn’t participate. And what happened next went far beyond the classroom. Students made: 📗125,095 donations towards books, which translates to over 11,000 books 📚49,052 donations towards libraries, which is enough to fill 9 libraries with books ✨47,952 donations towards helping teachers, which will successfully train 4 teachers in other countries To every student, teacher, and classroom that participated, thank you for turning learning into impact.
