White Americans can't totally relate to white Europeans and constantly insult eachother the same way africans and black Americans do. It’s an accurate stereotype but is weaponised as an insult, both culturally based.

Being general is vague in a sense that it might happen but to not all and a stereotype is one pinpoint personality that is typically more harmful.

Most anime characters dont look inherently Japanese or asian at all so a cosplay from a white person wouldn't be hated as much as compared to a black person who has to be reminded of their race every time they aren't cosplaying a black person
