@Sjopinion10 One could argue that the first Wolves attacker misjudged the flight of the ball and as such missed it. One could also argue he saw Onana, a proper unit, coming for him, and thus affected his timing.  All the best, and shave the stubble.  Christian Depken

@Sjopinion10 B. If the attacking player, having no realistic chance of playing the ball, is then brought down, is it still a penalty?  Salah has made a career of feigning contact when he would never be able to finish.

@Sjopinion10 A. If Onana was a midfielder and accosted an opposing midfielder in the same manner, would it be deemed a foul?  Yes, ir would. Thus, the same foul occurring in the box equals a penalty. Without question.

@Sjopinion10 @Sjopinion10 Full disclosure, Newcastle United supporter, from the United States. Per the MUFC v Wolves match. How was that not a penalty on Onana? I’m a fan of VAR but some things absolutely have to be ironed out, publicly.

@brooklynfritzy Long time listener. Clearly aware of Dan’s feelings on world football and his general avoidance of politics but today would be an ideal time to bring on Roger Bennet to explain recent events in Ukraine to your audience. I’m sure you’re already on it.

@PaulPabst Fun fact. The pitch at St. James Park, home of Newcastle United, is 3 feet lower on one end. If you watch them, the usually play the second half from left to right for this precise reason. Howay The Lads!!!

@Sjopinion10 Simon, reckon you might dismiss this question out of hand given my lack of activity on Twitter but here goes. Where is the coverage / commentary on the NUFC takeover? You surely have some insight on the inner workings of the PL.

Listen up, people. Thursday, April 26. The fine folks from Louis/Dressner are going to be in the shop pouring wines from France and Italy. I highly recommend you secure a spot sooner than later. Limited to 30 people. $25 per person. 6pm - 8pm. It’s gonna be dope.

This is happening on Tuesday. Odds are you won’t be tasting a better lineup than this on the night. Let me know.
