@Vichenzo_101 @monad Yeah, same thing happened to me Sunday 3 am. Got around 3600 usd on Monad drained. It's either they got your wallet's secret recovery phrase or you went to a dodgy website. The one that comes to mind that can be the culprit is one about calculating your Monad airdrop

Quick update on the recent TVL drop. The drop was driven by Qualia, one of the biggest depositors and a curator in the SuperMON vault, deciding to move away from Monad entirely, which impacted our TVL. We wanted to address this directly so the community has clear context on the change. Kintsu remains live, active, and committed to building on Monad. We will share further information on the SuperMON vault as soon as we have a clear plan of action.

I've been seeing a lot of opinions and feedback on the @Kintsu LST start on Monad and I hope this post might clarify things a bit and straighten it out WHY IS IT SO HARD TO WITHDRAW SUPERMON? To explain this, we first need to fully understand what exactly the superMON is. The superMON is a vaulted strategy token created by Kintsu. Your deposited $MON is actively deployed across liquid staking, LPs, and other yield strategies. The execution is not done directly by Kintsu but executed by @upshift_fi So why are withdrawals so bitchy? Upshift runs multi-protocol automated strategies. That means funds are often in LP positions, in lending markets, etc. Meaning assets cannot just be instantly unwound out of these positions, so Upshift needs time to deallocate your superMON. As innovative as the concept is, it comes with its complexities that there just isn't a way around. So it's more of a constraint than it is a custody issue. To be fair, I don't think anyone utilizing DeFi should be instantly exiting positions like that, seeing as the superMON hasn't been live for very long yet but that's just my opinion tho. WHY AM I LOSING MONEY SWAPPING TO sMON? SIMPLE ANSWER: YOU ARE NOT. sMON is not a hard-pegged stable asset like a stablecoin; it's a liquid staking derivative, meaning its value reflects liquidity conditions, MEV, strategy returns, etc. sMON trading above or below $MON short term is expected and normal. When assets are unwound properly, you recover very closely to the principal. That plus yield gained over time was the team's entire thinking process. I tried it out myself, not far off from my initial deposit. WHY DOES THE DISCORD SEEM EMPTY? Kintsu is a very dedicated, very connected, but also very small team who are shipping fast across multiple fronts (especially with newer developments every day), but even then, top Gs like @_Artem_ko literally live on the server, and community members like myself pop by from time to time, so questions and feedback are never left hanging for too long. Other than that, there are active vc sessions every Friday for anyone who wants direct responses from @Alexi0s or @KintsuShiitake WHY AM I BULLISH? Whenever I know a team, and I've watched them build their project, learn and continue to learn, and be relatable, down-to-earth humans, there is no bigger bullish indicator for me on a personal level. If I'm wrong? Fuck it! So be it. But what I have at Kintsu is a family and I will always try to protect my family. gKintsu. gM
