I respect Dave and the team's decision as always but I cannot agree that this is the best for players.
The world where we don't treat this as a Token is not only against what the developers intend, it also goes against any reason or intuition for a player.
It will take the whole set to get casual players to understand this ruling just for it to revert in Vendetta.
This also will matter for any LeBlanc players building with Azir, Sovereign as part of their strategy and especially with the Indy FAQ that came out most Western players have been preparing with the intended ruling and will be forced to change their strategies, not the other way around.

Hey Riftbounders - we've discovered an area of ambiguity causing confusion for judges globally that is centered around the rules for copying tokens, such as with LeBlanc and Reflection tokens. With Unleashed’s launch in China, their judge community received official guidance from us that tokens copy everything about the unit including whether the unit is a token or card and this replaces the copy’s trait with this information.
