@maoongnguai I've heard the usual "story bad gameplay good" take about it but I never really believed it because that's the general opinion on conquest as well and I didn't like playing that at all. But I'll believe it if it's you, I guess I'll put it in the endless "when i know japanese" bin

@maoongnguai Been for most of my life! I didn't enjoy many FE games (Only really liked 6-9-10) so I didn't pick up engage, I think the reason I decided not to is that in the first trailer there was a stained glass thing where ike had the gacha design when I'm told it isn't a thing lol

@RobinPoedev for said tools. Same thing about playing cards you pulled in tcg, which can't be replicated in sims, it's an interesting design space and though it has been tried before (xenoblade 2 comes to mind) I haven't found anything that goes the full distance without being tied to money

@RobinPoedev like people make a surface level connection of "gacha bad" + "gambling bad" + "randomness for the output of your money is gambling" = gacha is gambling which I don't think it's the case. The random aspect is such a big component of things like tcgs, and I don't mean the gameplay

@maoongnguai I'm neutral about areori but it doesn't help that we mostly got that and the conceit behind that series is endo&friends doing hype moments and aura. It's a pity to redo their story a thousand times when vicro story had a lot of potential (and don't get me started about chronicle)

@maoongnguai It's probably because vicro's updates have all been about chronicle+the gacha coming up but vicro characters do feel like second class citizens. Like gimme an extra story where they hang out and play against each other or something it's crazy how they dropped the ball with them

@AzureSiege I think the idea is to use the new quick play to go into this so you can shuffle verre and your used up names in gy (usually the good old schmietta-genni 1-2) to summon them back from deck again

@ygorganization Unless there are other new main deck WCs, summon 3 is not as crazy as you think. The only real target is Haine, and since you need our lord and savior Verre as fusion material, the implication is you would be running 2 Verre.. which is frowned upon.. ya'll can relax lol
