this scene from black narcissus (1947) is so brilliantly shot because it demonstrates the way each sister responds to temptation. sister ruth applies lipstick and falls into temptation while sister clodagh observes, but returns to prayer.

This is the massive mosque that, for some reason, is being built in our beautiful Lake District. No one, other than muslims, would be allowed to destroy our countryside in this way. Whoever authorised this eyesore should be arrested and locked up for a VERY long time.
