Uniquely diversified across projects, stages, & jurisdictions! We at Leading Edge are poised to capitalize on the booming #RareEarths & #Graphite markets! With EU’s Critical Raw Materials Act driving demand & China’s export restrictions tightening supply, LEM’s Woxna Graphite Mine—fully built & permitted—is ready to meet Europe’s 140% graphite demand surge by 2030. Norra Kärr’s HREE project further strengthens LEM’s role in securing sustainable, geopolitically resilient supply chains for EVs & clean energy. With everything going on in the world, Edison Group's thematic note on the Company's Norra Kärr Heavy Rare Earth Elements ("HREE") project could not be more timely. edisongroup.com/research/meeti… Extract from the note: 'Europe needs a long-term, secure source of rare earths and, increasingly, Greenland does not look like the answer. Rare earths are now clearly geopolitical, and, like the US, Europe will need ‘in the ground’ sources in safe jurisdictions where investors are willing to commit capital. Rare earth elements (REEs) are needed for decarbonising power grids, electric vehicle (EV) production, defence applications and robotics. Our analysis indicates that Leading Edge Materials’ (LEM’s) Norra Kärr deposit in Sweden has the potential to supply all of Europe’s heavy rare earth element (HREE) needs, and this is likely to become more obvious as its development progresses and processing and offtake routes mature. In this note we look broadly at Europe’s strategy to meet its HREE needs in what is, even for mining, a volatile sector.'

And before that in silicon, etc, etc...

State capitalism in the auto industry works like this. They secure the materials. They control the refining. They absorb ideas globally. They manufacture at scale. They underprice competitors. The result is cheaper vehicles that Western producers cannot match because the entire supply chain sits within a single, coordinated system. Apply the same structure to AI. The West leads in model architecture and frontier research. We atch youtube and the guru of the day tells us 6 months China controls large portions of the metals required to scale data centres: copper for power distribution, gallium for power electronics, tantalum for capacitors, and rare earths for cooling and grid systems. High amounts of Gallium are needed for NVDA Rubin chips, and China makes 98%. There are a dozen examples like this. AMD and NVDA need 850 ton pa of Tantalum in 4 years, which is about the world's entire production today They secure midstream processing. They prioritise domestic capacity buildout. They scale compute infrastructure. They close the capability gap. Once scale is sufficient, they export AI services, hardware, or integrated systems at materially lower prices, potentially 50 per cent below Western equivalents, using supply chain control and state financing to compress costs. The logic is vertical integration plus price compression applied to AI instead of autos. And our MAG 7s act like they are the only ones who can do AI.

Thank you, @realDonaldTrump, for the invitation to the Oval Office today… Mining is a critical industry vital to the re-industrialization of the United States' economy. Today mining as a sector only represents 1% of the S&P500... However, with your leadership and the Project Vault initiative, I am super excited for the future of this incredible industry in America and its future impact for the American economy.

LEADING EDGE MATERIALS’ PROGRESS UPDATE ON ROMANIAN EXPLORATION PROJECT • 2025 exploration campaign identifies significant areas of mineralisation underground in Valea Leucii, Dibarz and Avram Iancu, and wider potential across the exploration licence. • Underground development mapping and sampling data reveal extensive mineralisation. • Potential exists for mineralisation between Valea Leucii, Dibarz, and Avram Iancu to be connected, giving a mineralised zone extending approximately 6 kilometres north–south and a similar distance east–west. leadingedgematerials.com/_files/ugd/f97…

CEO Kurt (to the right below) was in Gränna last week for a workshop to discuss development plans for the Norra Kärr Heavy Rare Earth Elements ("HREE") project, gathering together at our Project Café in the heart of town. Whichever way you turn these days, you face into headwinds of geopolitical instability, trade wars, real wars and sovereign overreach. In these times, it's exciting to be working on a project that offers to make a significant positive difference to European self-sufficiency in HREEs, specifically dysprosium and terbium. Kurt has been permitting mining projects in Sweden for quite some years. Now we are looking forward to building a rare earths business in Sweden.

Europe must do more to secure its rare earths supply chain The daily drumbeat of US rare earths deals should serve as a wake-up call: Europe risks being caught between American and Chinese dominance in rare earth elements. This warning, voiced at Raw Materials Week in Brussels last November, demands greater action. The case of Leading Edge Materials Corp.'s Norra Kärr Heavy Rare Earth Elements project illustrates the challenge perfectly. After waiting nearly 14 months for a 25-year mining lease to progress to the next stage, it's clear that permitting needs streamlining without compromising standards. Europe is building resilience across the entire mine-to-magnet value chain, but we need to do more, and do it now: - Create multiple REE sourcing and processing options within the EU - Align permitting timelines with what's technically possible - Secure investor commitment in domestic capacity This isn't about lowering our standards—it's about removing self-imposed obstacles that prevent us from competing globally while maintaining our values. We have the geological resources and technical expertise. What we need now is amplified political will to make the changes necessary to secure our future.

China’s sweeping new export restrictions on #rareearths, controlling five key metals and requiring Beijing’s approval for products with even 0.1% Chinese rare earths, escalate global supply chain tensions ahead of a Trump-Xi summit. Leading Edge Materials is intensifying efforts to build sustainable, diversified rare earth supply chains, securing the future of clean energy and advanced manufacturing. Visit our website👉 leadingedgematerials.com/projects/ to find out more about our portfolio of projects located within the borders of the European Union with the vision to supply sustainable and secure sources of critical raw materials to European industrial ecosystems.
