July 21, 2026 FG returns 13 oil blocks to licensing pool. Oil blocks aren't permanently owned. They're national assets licensed for development. Should Nigeria prioritize awarding more licences or ensuring existing ones are fully developed first? vanguardngr.com/2026/07/just-i…

I know it might have seemed we dropped the ball on LeadNext. But no, we’ve just been working tirelessly to get things going in the background. I am so happy to share these updates! With several court orders and constant change in party leadership, it’s been very difficult keeping our page updated with INEC backed information on political parties. So, I built a backend string that connects our website with INEC’s official website, pulling information directly from there daily. We also have a live project tracker and news scanner that keeps you informed on Federal projects and headline news, with curated analysis on how governance directly impacts citizens. Check out our website for more! Weleadnext.org

July 20, 2026 Beyond the headline: The project could boost regional trade, energy security and jobs, but only if financing, environmental safeguards and public accountability are clear. What should be the priority: exports or local energy access? nairametrics.com/2026/07/20/nig…

As the APC conducts its primary elections across Nigeria today, do you know there are 18 other political parties that the losers could have gone to and secure a place on the ballot? Why do you think they insisted on contesting under the APC? Check weleadnext.org for more

The Senate on Thursday rescinded its earlier amendment to the Standing Rules, which mandated that senators-elect must take their oath of office before electing presiding officers on inauguration day. The upper chamber subsequently re-amended the provision to restore the previous practice, allowing senators-elect to elect the senate president and deputy senate president before taking their oath of office. snip.ng/kAWkE

Definitely INEC chairman’s scandal involving his post supporting APC, the subsequent change of account name, denial of ownership, and hiring independent forensics to confirm the lie he told! By the way, he is still the INEC chair so no need to update your website 😂

Hello there It’s been a while since you heard from us. As you are, we are still struggling to wrap our heads around the craziness going on in the Nigerian political space. Aside Obidients sacking HE Peter Obi, what has been your jaw dropping moment that got you like this?
