@IanCopeland5 👋 hi. Not an antivaxxer, but I would not take an Ebola vaccine, because statistically, I am much more likely to have a vaccine reaction than I am to die from Ebola. If I lived in Congo, i would definitely consider a vaccine if available. Context is important my friend

@IanCopeland5 Yeah that's kind of the point... why are we forcing people to take an experimental drug for something that has a less than 1% case fatality rate. If it's 40% the arithmetic and risk assessment changes

@Stubblejumper6 Quebec permanently banned all petroleum exploration & production, revoked all existing exploration & production licenses, & mandated the permanent closure of all existing wells over climate change. That’s provincial. It’s not that beneficial to QC.

@TheAnnaMurphy I hardly think the PM should be addressing what was or was not " voted" for. The hypocrisy runs deep with the left.

The Prime Minister is right. Albertans did not vote for separatism in the last provincial election. It was not on the ballot, it was not central to the government’s platform, and it was not presented as a mandate to destabilize the future of Confederation. At a time of global economic uncertainty, Alberta should be focused on strengthening investment, expanding market access, building infrastructure, creating jobs, and helping lead a strong Canadian economy, not fuelling political chaos that undermines confidence in our future. Alberta’s strength has always come from helping build Canada, not retreating from it. We are strongest when Alberta is at the centre of a united, ambitious, and economically confident Canada.
Courtney Theriault@cspotweet

"Did (Albertans) vote for this last provincial election? No, they didn't, it wasn't on the ballot paper, it wasn't in the mandates or platforms of the governing party..." PM Mark Carney says a separatist question on a question isn't helpful to the economy, that it wasn't part of the UCP's election platform- joking that Premier Smith doesn't always take his advice.

@TheAnnaMurphy This is a citizen led initiative is it not? From what I've seen Premier Smith is opposed to separation but not opposed to citizens' voicing their opinions.

@nenshi If you don't allow people a democratic method of trying to separate, what option do you leave them? Wouldn't you rather an attempted separation by referendum than another more kinetic option?

Danielle Smith is pushing her separatist referendum to save her job. We're fighting back to save our country. 🇨🇦

Whenever I hear this guy speak, it makes me shudder inside. He is lying to Canadians. Net Zero is a path to compliance & servitude. We have been promised lower energy bills for over a decade yet they have only gone up. He is satisfying an agenda that will see Canadians merely surviving, not living. Canadians need to wake up.

@guyfelicella That sounds great! But you don't give them drugs, right? Or encourage them to do drugs - only safely! With unique "hello kitty" snorting tube's? ...Because that would be crazy

I’ve spoken in hundreds of schools, and I never walk in telling kids to “just say no.” Students would laugh me out of the room because they know life is more complicated than slogans. I share my story instead, the gangs, the addiction, the trauma, and the recovery which is my way of saying "just say no" And most importantly: the importance of reaching out when you’re struggling. That’s what connects with young people, it's not fear, it's not lectures, its human connection and that can change their lives, actually it has. And I know it matters because after every talk, there’s a lineup of students waiting to speak with me privately. Not because they were judged, because they finally felt understood. @WumpyNutz @redpillb0t Reading these comments I'm starting to wonder if social media might just be way more dangerous than any virus. Even if there's a new pandemic (won't be hantavirus) people will believe ridiculous hoax claims on social media.
