Just reflecting on my first month as a qualified nurse in General Practice. There’s been lots of feelings of overwhelm with the vast amount of knowledge that is needed for the role, and wondering how I will ever learn it, but slowly building my confidence and doing things solo.

I’ve been a qualified nurse for 1 whole year today ❤️ what a nerve racking, exciting, hard, positive, crazy year it’s been. Grateful for all the support I’ve gotten and continue to get. #NQN #nurse #qualifiednurse

I really don’t want to work till I’m half dead and then have time to do things, which I am then not mobile or capable of doing. Surely there is more to life than this?

I’ve absolutely loved having this week off. It’s shown me the importance of work life balance. I feel all I do is work with little life balance involved. I miss my flat and my garden and spending time in a place I go to work to pay for and not spend anytime in it!

Never even liked tennis anyway.
