Once again @tfwrail your gate and train staff have been helpful and friendly without exception today. It really is a pleasure to travel and feel that a wheelchair is not a hindrance

@tfwrail Sure. We traveled Bridgend to Cardiff. We even bumped into the same fantastic TM from my previous communication a couple of weeks ago and she kindly helped us onto the train. Gate staff at both stations were really helpful too

@tfwrail Your manager on the 1840 Bridgend arrival from Llantwit is an absolute star. She went out of her way to help me and contacted the train coming the other way to Cardiff to know to expect me. It’s so wonderful that we have people like that on our railway! Pls say thanks

@RhonddaBryant Have you been able to revisit this now in government? Halfterm travel to London has been miserable. Short trains as ever, no reservations (ditto), standing room only even in middle of day. Rubbish or zero catering. And it costs a fortune. When will this stop?

I’ve written to GWR about the recent heavily disrupted train service. Many of my constituents who travel on GWR report regularly cancelled or delayed, or a shorter trains, which means that carriages are overcrowded.

@bowbrick big problems: 1) those with disabilities de facto get an inferior frequency of trains 2) platforms can ever be guaranteed. Waiting disabled passenger then abandoned because of platform change 3) rail company will eternally use this an excuse for making all platforms accessible

Railway accessibility question. I'm sure this is a silly idea but would it be possible to improve access where there are four tracks with an island platform in the middle by periodically running trains to the outer platforms where there is flat access and no need for a lift?

@glynhudson Which providers have you had problems with so far?

I can confirm the CCS to Chademo adaptor works on V4 superchargers, it making long distance travel in our campervan van so much easier 😀
