Interesting piece suggesting that for impact virtual beats in-person training events. Worth a read, even if I think, and as they acknowledge later in the piece, they are actually identifying the value of spreading learning out vs. a single intervention. fastcompany.com/90740874/this-…

@SeanBrownHRTech Enjoyed this, I felt that your advice to move around early in your career had a lot of value. I am not early in my career, but recently changed industries, now wish I had moved around more previously.

@qomenius Doesn't it really depend on the intent and the circumstances? Sometimes Storytelling would be the better option, sometimes it wouldn't. That doesn't make it any less valid as a way to form connections, especially within and with groups.

@qomenius Firstly, thanks for describing me, and anyone else who believes in Storytelling as a tool for sharing and connection, as a manipulator. Secondly, isn't the same true of conversation and dialogue, a manipulator would claim they were the authentic forms of connection.

@qomenius @pattishank @elearnindustry As an example of where I think it fits, I am currently developing training for a SalesForce launch, an element of it will be what I think of as "micro-learning". Supporting new users to complete required processes with in-context material.

I usually use Hemingway, Grammarly, and Wordtune Editor if I need help or inspiration in writing. Today I tried simplish.org/- I do not recommend this one. "managers must give at one's death carefully worked designs"!
