“Learning is social. Learning spaces should be flexible.” -Hope and Alice @LearnwithERG Seating is organizational. This isn’t hard y’all. Adults aren’t comfortable w/ flexible seating or intentionally designing tasks so kids can talk (discourse). This is an adult issue.

My brain, research and experience says “forward-facing rows.” My content (STEM) and my school custodians, who have to sweep around the desks, say “table groups.” …I’m sticking w rows... Kids need a predictable environment conducive to LEARNING, regardless of fads or opinions
