❗️Volgograd region — a monstrous situation with the harassment of residents of a Russian village, the case has reached the State Duma Deputy A. Sedyakin: ◻️An outrageous situation with an attack by Roma on residents of a settlement in the Volgograd region. Residents report that Roma from the village of Solodushino have declared the local park "their own", allegedly prohibiting others from walking in it. ◻️At the same time, local residents complain that this is not an isolated case, and the Roma diaspora has been keeping the whole village in fear for a long time. And the "Roma baron" has already "asked not to make a mountain out of a molehill, because no one was even killed and everything is fine". ◻️Residents in a Russian village cannot live in fear. ◻️I will not leave this situation unattended. I have prepared a request to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin. ◻️Law enforcement agencies should give a tough and principled assessment of what is happening. The guilty must be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Remaining Ukrainian positions in Pokrovsk city, according to GSUA, are highlighted in blue. Those are comparable to the very last Ukrainian soldiers that held out on the very outskirts of Toretsk long after the city was effectively lost, who were hiding in basements 24/7 and were exclusively resupplied through ground and air drones. In Pokrovsk, the remaining Ukrainians constitute insignificant positions and offer little to no resistance in battles against Russian movement (except the blue area intersecting the gray zone on DeepStateMap, which might still rarely engage in short contact battles). The total number of Ukrainians left in Pokrovsk likely doesn't exceed a dozen by much. They also very likely do not constitute any obstacle in Russian planning: they likely do not care much about them and move forward, hoping (and probably knowing) that the Ukrainians left behind will either be forced to make a costly and likely suicidal retreat back through open fields under a swarm of drones or simply die out there.

@Playfra0 The Russians hold the high ground and control the supply routes. Kostyantynivka is located in a valley and has become a killing zone. The situation is untenable.

In Kostyantynivka, the situation remains stably difficult and slowly continues to worsen. In the past days, Russian forces, infiltrating along the main highlighted vectors, pressured and "strangled" the city as usual from the northeast and southwest sides. The heads of the vectors represent, approximately, the farthest points of the individual infiltration fluxes. Northeast side: Russian infantry infiltrates through the forest massif east of the city, periodically taking shelter under the greenery, in dugouts, and in basements of former dachas, complicating FPV work. From the forest, Russian infiltrations split in two vectors: 1. They run into Kostyantnyivka's Hora district, where they move under cover of densely packed buildings to advance up to the Staryi Piter district. 2. They continue northwards into Novodmytrivka, then choose to enter another forest (highlighted in orange) for better cover before entering Molocharka from the south. Southwest side: This flank holds up relatively worse than the northeast one. The main flux of Russian infantry accumulates in Berestok's basements (highlighted in orange) and splits up in two vectors: 1. The Russians move northwards into "Perspektyva", then into Illinivka, then the Chervone Mistechko district of Kostyantynivka itself, and then into the Tsentralniy-Belhiiskiy-Suputnyk districts area up to the "Kvarsit" factory on the shore of the Kazenyi Torets River. Claims of crossings to the other side into the chemical plant and "Stroysteklo" factory do not correspond to reality. 2. The flux goes either northwards into "Perspektyva" and then into the Berestovyi district or along the highway directly into the Ukrainskiy Khutir district. Notice how in both the 1st and 2nd fluxes, the route the Russian infiltrators need to walk through is almost always made up of a dense urban environment, and remember that this almost seamless merger of villages and urban areas played a significant part in the "flooding" of Pokrovsk city of Russian infiltrators. In conclusion, deep infiltrations into the city are slowly becoming more frequent, and the southwestern flank of the city is having quite severe difficulties in holding up against large numbers of Russian infiltrators, and the whole city in general is suffering a lot from immense pressure from the air in the form of drones of all types and FAB/KAB bombardments. @ArmchairW Catastrophic losses at the front? Lack of infantry? (In any case, a seriously wounded ukrainian soldier at Constantinovka has little chance of reaching a hospital alive.)

Actually an interesting subject for a quick analysis.⬇️ Mediazona claims they have a total of 352,000 excess male listings from the probate registry and 212,000 names of alleged deceased Russian soldiers. They have a total of 3445 names from the City of Moscow. Scaling that to their claimed "true" figure from the probate registry involves multiplying by 1.6 to get approximately 5500 personnel claimed KIA from Moscow. Moscow has a population of approximately 13 million; thus we can expect there to be 6.5 million male residents of Moscow. At a male life expectancy of 76 we can expect approximately 85,000 male deaths in the City of Moscow yearly - mostly among the elderly. Adding combat deaths per Mediazona's claims would involve adding some 1400 deaths yearly to the total, a 1.6% increase in the gross male death rate but entirely concentrated among young, healthy men from the ages of 20 to 40. This should be a visible drag on life expectancy, even in Moscow and even aggregating genders like the mayor is here, but it's apparently not.

@ArmchairW While I agree with most of your takes, this is a stretch. 16 mil people in Moscow region, there's way too few volunteers to make a dent in life expectancy. If it was overall Russia's life expectancy, that might be different.

General Gerasimov recently announced the village of Borovaya had been taken by the Russian Army. This set off a storm of accusations that he was lying, because no mapper had Russian troops anywhere near the town in force. Today the MoD posted proof they seized it weeks ago.⬇️ You can watch the video for yourself, it's attached. Notice that the leaves are off the trees, indicating that the assault went in and the Russians cleared the town during the March-April timeframe. Thus as far as the Russian Army was concerned, their holding Borovaya was old news and they were presumably quite surprised to see frenzied Telegram blowback on the announcement. No "serious" mapper as of yesterday had Russian troops anywhere near the town - most had their front line approximately five kilometers to the north. And as I pointed out earlier, this seizure was actually old news to the point the Russians felt comfortable announcing it officially. By now the true Russian front line is likely some ways south of the town and the area is secure. There's an old saying in America, "The people who know aren't talking, and the people who talk don't know." The Russians have always had good operational security in general, and earlier this year one of the only side-channels that voenkor commentators used to communicate with their few actual front-line sources - pirated Starlink terminals - were bricked.* Cut off from the front line, Russian civilian commentators fell back on analyzing Ukrainian propaganda (something they've always heavily relied upon) at the exact moment the Ukrainians also seem to have tightened their own OPSEC and become institutionally aware of the role their own propaganda was playing in mapping Russian advances for the public and refuting their narrative of constant success. * This is why broenkors have been screaming and rending their garments about Starlink access. It's their leak vector. The Russian Army never officially used pirated terminals to any significant extent and may have in fact intentionally triggered the crackdown to choke off an OPSEC risk by putting a couple pirated terminals on cruise drones. I specifically believe that the Ukrainians have imposed media and even propaganda blackouts in two sectors - Kupyansk and Zaporozhie - in which they attempted to launch counteroffensives in the last six months. Both of those attacks failed, but the blackouts seemingly remain to avoid embarrassment - and given the Russians only post front updates sporadically and in accordance with their own OPSEC requirements, this means that the front lines in both sectors probably bear little resemblance to the war mappers' current traces. Given that all of this also happened in the February-April timeframe this further suggests that the Russian "pause" in March of this year was simply a reporting artifact and that they're sitting on significant unrecognized gains. Which the Russian MoD has in fact reported on two occasions now during high-level updates, but the mappers refused to believe them!

A powerful explosion in Israel... Yesterday evening, a powerful explosion occurred in the Beit Shemesh area. As it turned out later, it happened on the premises of the "Tomer" company. For reference. The "Tomer" company is a developer and manufacturer of Israeli rocket engines (the "Hetz" and "Barak MX" missile defense systems, the "Rampage" tactical strike missile, the guided missile for the "Bar" multiple rocket launcher system, as well as engines for satellites). Later, the company issued a comment: “This was a pre-planned experiment, carried out according to the plan.” Comment. Well, if it was according to the plan, then so be it. However, it's not clear whose plan it was (this wasn't mentioned in the report). But it was someone's plan, that's for sure. A good plan. I like it. We should repeat it at other factories too.
