Today marked my last day volunteering at Belvedere Court in Wolverhampton. This is a residential care home for those with mental health issues. I really enjoyed building a rapport with the service users and staff and understanding the challenges people face.

Today a large number of our Nepalese students were celebrating Dashain. This is a celebration of good over evil in Hinduism. We took time out of our lesson to recognise this celebration and appreciate cultural differences. @DebbieHocknull @godwin4705 @UCBofficial

Today our FdSc students welcomed the challenge. Very proud of both sets of students for their hard work, endeavour and thought processes involved in this task.

Today our BSc Health and Social Care students were attempting to open a a padlock without a key. They had to research alternative methods, ask the right questions, evaluate tried and tested methods and analyse what had worked and what hadn't. @UCBofficial @DebbieHocknull
