the chapter closed before i was ready to stop reading.

during that live, joon said he wished the members could speak more english so they could share conversations during interviews. and yesterday yoongi worked so hard to do just that. it stayed with me– because sometimes, the quietest proof of love is simply trying for each other.

Heeseung, It’s been almost 13 days since the announcement and today was the first time we saw you again through your fancall. Seeing you today hit us in a way we weren’t ready for. It was heavy, but it was also relief. Like we had been holding our breath for days and finally we could breathe a little. Those 12 days felt like years. Every single day was full of anxiety and uncertaities. Waiting. Not knowing. Overthinking. Hoping for even the smallest sign of you. It was honestly exhausting, but we stayed, because we couldn’t just walk away. Not from you. Heeseung, we love you. Not just when things are easy, not just when everything makes sense. We love you even when it is messy, even when it is hard. And because we love you like that, we will respect every decision you make. Even if it is hard for us, we trust you. We are starting to accept things, slowly. Not perfectly. Some days it feels real, some days it still hits like a punch we weren’t ready for. But accepting it does not mean leaving you to face this alone. We have been here with you since I-LAND. We have seen you grow. We have stayed through every high, every low, every moment in between. What we have with you is not shallow. It is not something we can just drop or forget in a snap. We never even imagined doing that, because you have always meant too much to us.
