En France, pour qu’un salarié touche environ 40 000 € net, l’entreprise doit débourser près de 95 000 € pour un salaire brut de 60 000 €. C’est de très loin le prélèvement le plus élevé au monde. Qu’est-ce que ça implique ? Si l’IA commence à remplacer une partie des emplois, ce ne sera pas une simple vague d’ajustement mais un cataclysme. Dans un pays où le coût du travail est aussi lourdement chargé, l’impact pourrait être bien plus brutal que dans beaucoup d’autres économies occidentales. Plus le travail humain est taxé, plus l’incitation économique à automatiser est forte. Les entreprises pourraient être encore davantage poussées à remplacer certains postes voir même investir massivement pour le faire. La vraie question devient alors : est-ce que l’IA sera, elle aussi, taxée d’une manière ou d’une autre ?
