We recently hosted a roundtable on unlocking #SDG7 finance towards implementing #Nepal's Energy Compact commitments. The event brought together policymakers, financiers and private sector leaders to help translate Nepal’s Energy Compact into actionable, bankable opportunities.

Great catching up with @Ashish_Khanna, @isolaralliance Director General. Together with @FemiAkinyelure & @LeeAbiola, we explored how to deepen collaboration, building on the strong complementarity between ISA’s global #solar mandate and @SEforALLorg's #SDG7 & #energyaccess work.

It was a pleasure meeting with @Ahmed_shide1, Ethiopia's Minister of Finance @MoF_Ethiopia. We discussed @SEforALLorg's support to #Ethiopia's #COP32 Presidency as well as partnerships to accelerate mini grids development and regional trade of #cleanenergy technologies.

At the #WBGMeetings, I joined @bosuntijani, @IFC_org and partners for a ceremonial signing to support energy projects in #Nigeria. Nigeria is a priority #Mission300 country, and the DARES programme and IFC’s private sector-led approach will be key to accelerating impact.

On the sidelines of #WBGMeetings, I discussed #Nigeria as a priority country in advancing #Mission300 with @WBG_Nigeria's Mathew Verghis & Taimur Samad, alongside @FemiAkinyelure and @LeeAbiola. We also discussed how to strengthen alignment and accelerate delivery on the ground.

At the final day of #IVECF, the focus was on what it takes to scale green industry — from sustainable industrialization hubs to real partnerships. It was also great to connect with H.E. Mr. Jonathan Reid, Govt. of Barbados & the Austrian Development Agency.

For #SIDS, energy systems carry more than power. They carry recovery, jobs and stability. At #IVECF, @StefanoMargucc1 spoke on strengthening them as a foundation for more resilient island economies. Because when systems fail, everything else follows.
